Both cucumber and green tea are great for reducing inflammation and swelling. To make the best de-puffing under-eye solution ever, simply skin and puree a cucumber using a food processor. Add in a cup of strongly brewed green tea. Use a clean ice cube tray to create individual frozen cubes of the green tea and cucumber puree mixture. Store it in your freezer. Ingredients:

  • Three teaspoons of green powdered tea
  • One tablespoon of honey
  • Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar

If you need to banish a breakout quickly, you need to do three things. First and foremost, you need to eradicate the skin of impurities. Secondly, you need an antimicrobial component that will kill the bacteria that contributes to blemishes. Finally, you need something anti-inflammatory that will help your blemishes to come down in size and reduce redness.

This mask does all three of those things. Combine three teaspoons of green powdered tea with a tablespoon of honey and two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Mix to create a thick paste. Apply to a freshly washed face and let the mask sit for 10-15 minutes. When you wash the mask away, your blemishes will be reduced in size and your skin will be calmer.

The reason this mask works is because each of the ingredients fulfill an essential acne-fighting purpose. The green tea reduces inflammation, the apple cider vinegar acts as an astringent and the honey acts as a antimicrobial. This all-natural solution is the perfect fix for anyone who struggles with chronic breakouts.

  • One cup of raw sugar
  • Two tablespoons of olive or coconut oil
  • One tablespoon of honey
  • One tablespoon of powdered green tea
  • {Optional} Essential oil for scent

This body scrub will not only exfoliate away dead skin cells, but it will bring down redness and calm troubled body skin. To make, combine the above ingredients. The finished product should have a thick, gritty texture. If it feels too runny, add some more raw sugar. If if feels too thick, add a few more drops of olive or coconut oil to thin it out.
