Mind Over Matcha Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

My favorite smoothie from Booster Juice is Mind Over Matcha, which is a blueberry-yogurt based smoothie that incorporates Matcha Green Tea in it for that extra kick of energy. I don’t always have the time to grab one since I am not near a booster juice so I decided I would tinker with my Vitamix and try to nail it down — good news is my version is almost identical, plus is healthier because I don’t use the sugary frozen yogurt.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1 cup – 1% Milk or Almond Milk.
1 scoop – Vanilla Whey Isolate Protein Powder.
1 tbsp (not heaped)  of our MatchaSecets Premium to get the full antioxidant benefits.
1/2 Banana.
1 cup – Frozen Blueberries.
Some Ice.

In that order, put the above ingredients into your blender, shake it a bit and blend for about 30-60 seconds. Pour and enjoy 🙂

This version of the mind over matcha bluerry smoothie is a great start to my morning and keeps me full until lunch and helps aid in my fitness goals of burning fat and building lean muscle. These are high quality calories packed with fiber, protein and fats that are all of the healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated variety.
