The other day I shared with you my version of the Booster Juice’s Mind Over Matcha Breakfast Smoothie, today though I am going to share with you my green smoothie that is perfect for early mornings or lunch time!
I originally set out to create this smoothie as a way to get green veggies into my diet and to help me create a healthy post workout meal replacement for when I get busy. When I discovered Matcha it was a no-brainer for me to add it into the shake, I renamed this shake into the Matcha Green Tea Smoothie! 🙂
Ingredients You’ll Need
1 cup coconut water (or just plain water)
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (optional)
1 tbsp matcha green tea powder
1/2 avacado
1″ to 1.5″ thick slice of pineapple
1 green apple (remove the seeds)
1 handful spinach
1 handful kale
some mint leaves
some ice
Place into your Vitamix or blender of your choice in that order to ensure a proper blend. Blend for 60 seconds and you’re ready to drink!
